Day Star School

Here is a list of our immediate needs:

• Increase the enrollment of underprivileged children. This will be feasible as more friends and well-wishers come forward with regular financial support, even small amounts, for the school.
• Increase and improve our educational resources.
• Strengthen our in-service training of teachers.
• Find and keep the full complement of dedicated, innovative and skilled teachers.
• Some of our furniture and equipment will need replacing. These include furniture, computer equipment and photocopier.
• Higher education - Starting classes 11th and 12th.
• Training teachers from remote villages, as a contribution and outreach to other needy communities in the region.
• Financial assistance for more number of deserving students, even after they have completed high school from Day Star. This financial assistance is for their high education.
• Eligible teachers are required to teach in primary and middle school.
