When a group of students visited they left the following comment in the Expression Box “Just cherishing our memories, missing every second that we spent in this Institution. Those were the days which cannot be re-lived but can only reminisce. Proud to be a part of this great family, ‘Day Star Academy’." In 1996, the first batch of students passed out of Day Star. Since then there have been 12 batches to pass out and join the Day Star Alumni. Looking at the alumni we feel proud of your acheivements. We are humbled to realize that this small school in Manali became a gateway for many children in Manali to find their future. We tried to impart to you dignity, equality and responsibility. We hope the alumni will take up the challenges that are faced by Day Star to make it a special place for the community of Manali.We leave you with a question which was asked by Dr. Scott Peck, "What return can I make?" We would like to get in touch with everyone and keep the relationships that were built here alive. We hope that through this website, ex-students can keep in touch with each other.
